DENSO Corporation is the third global automotive manufacturer. It s subsidiary company DENSO EUROPE B.V. launched its activities in fuel injection-systems in the 1960s by acquiring Bosch license. Since then DENSO invested heavily in this promising industry, resulting in the most progressive injection systems COMMON RAIL. The products of this company are no longer called Nippondenso, but DENSO.
Denso Corporation, has responded to the growing potential in air conditioning market by establishing of Denso manufacturing Czech Republic manufacturing plant in Liberec. Serial production in this plant began in the first half of 2003 and officially started operations in 2004.

DENSO's main customers (high pressure diesel injection systems) include Toyota, Ford, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Renault, Nissan, Kubota, Komatsu, Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Land Rover, Cummins, John Deere, Subaru, Daihatsu and Isuzu.
DENSO is also a major contributor to Toyota's DPRX D-CAT. Denso, together with Bosch, produces particle separators (DPFs) in a joint plant in Poland.
